Why in Italian, why not just call it “Windows and Doors of the World”?  As you begin to explore this set of images, you will find that a lot of this type of architecture has been created with the heart, and not the head, craftspeople showing off their skills, and the basic purpose of the window and door, which is to provide shelter and security, has been upstaged by inserting love and passion.

So for me, Italian was the obvious choice.
